Butterflies and Valentines

Hello and happy Friday!  I've got 7 cards to share with you after a busy few hours in the Craft Cave yesterday.  First up is my entry for The Paper Players colour challenge.  I have to say that I struggled with this one especially the bright pink and red. I finally had a breakthrough though when I came across this My Cute Stamps set.  I stamped the circles to create an abstract sky and then I stamped, coloured, fussy cut and popped up the butterfly.  The sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink
Stamps:  (Butterfly & circles from Miss You) My Cute Stamps
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Dies:  (Dashed panel) Avery Elle
Gems:  Recollections

This next card started by using the current sketch over at RetroSketches.  I'm also going to enter this in the Addicted to Stamps and More Anything Goes challenge.  I love this Lawn Fawn set for Valentine's cards.  All the little images are adorable.  So adorable in fact that I made 6 cards using each of the images and their matching sentiments.

Jen, I just love the background you created! Your card is so fun! I would never know that the colors gave you a problem. LOL! You make Clean and Simple looks so fantastic! I struggle with CAS cards. I love your Valentine's, too. SO happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week! XX

Oh my, Jen...you've created an array of delight here! I'm completely in love with your butterfly card! I'll be investigating that company/stamp for sure! The red and blue: perfect! Your Valentine cards: absolutely adorable! I need a little set like that (too late for this year) to create cards for my niece and nephew's kindergarten and daycare pals. This year: Valentine-themed bookmarks for my niece's classmates...17 done and 17 to go (and the 25 somethings for my nephew's group, and 6 teacher cards...time's a ticking...).
