Striped Bonanza!

Hi there!  I've got a rather bright and bold card today.  I'm playing along with the challenge at the Colour Throwdown.  I was rather fixated on the stripes in the photo so I decided to create my own.  I started out by trying to stamp them but that didn't go so well (cue lots of bad words!) so I cut strips of patterned paper and layered them instead.  The Papertrey Ink sentiment fit perfectly in the white space and the flower pretty much made itself!  Hope you've all had a lovely day!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Bazzill, (Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point) Stampin' Up
Stamp:  (Sentiment from Big & Bold Wishes) Papertrey Ink
Ink:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Die:  (Nesties Labels 14) Spellbinders
Dies:  (Beautiful Blooms II #1, #2 & #3) Papertrey Ink
Punches:  (5/16" & 1/8" hole punches) McGill

oooh, love these colours together with the white, the white really helps to make them so crisp ... the flower sets it off so nicely xx

And you craft like I do - bad words flying everywhere ;) Love the dimension that layering the strips gives - fussy but sooo worth it :)
