Welcome to Week 329 of CASology! Take a look at the cue word for this week:
My card this week took a couple of tries to get right. The first one involved some ill fated heart die cuts and a multi-color sentiment. It was not a pretty sight. So I one back to the drawing board and did some masking and inking and was SO much happier with this result!
I must ask though - is paper pilling common when you work with Distress Oxide inks? I had the same problem with regular cardstock and watercolor paper. Am I just being too heavy handed with it?
Looking forward to seeing what direction the cue word takes you. Check out the gorgeousness from the rest of the design team then play along!

Wonderful card, Jen! Your blending is gorgeous!
Great card! Love the bright yellow heart. My use of oxides is limited, but no pilling for me...
So fun! Love your idea. Nice work.
I love that you made a yellow heart to go with the switch, Jen. What a fun card. I haven't had any problem with pilling with Oxides but then I usually use them on Bristol because the blending goes so smoothly.
This one is worth the effort. Really cute pun, and I love how you blended the colors on your heart. I don't blend much, but have never had pilling. I use Stamper Select White paper from Papertrey.
Love the glow of that heart behind the light switch!! I haven't had pilling either - Neenah Classic Crest - but I haven't done much besides sponge it on (and I've gone fairly dark) and maybe a few water drops!
