Purple Birthday Flower

Hello!

I've got a card today for two challenges - the MFT Sketch challenge and the Just Add Ink photo inspiration challenge.  I used the colours from the JAI photo as inspiration and inked up this MFT flower with a good old rock and roll technique.  I really like the richness of the Catherine Pooler ink colours - so gorgeous!  I used yellow Crystal Drops in the center of the flower but they soaked up some of the ink and turned a really cool coral colour.  Love those happy accidents!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper:  (Proper Pinstripes 6x6) My Favourite Things
Stamps:  (Flower & leaves from Tropical Flowers, Sentiment from Queen For a Day) My Favourite Things
Inks:  (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Lime Rickey, Eucalyptus, Royal Treatment, Flirty Fuscia) Catherine Pooler
Embossing Powder:  (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Other:  (Nuvo English Mustard & Oyster Grey Crystal Drops) Tonic
