Wreaths & A Fox

I've got another couple of cards from yesterday's crafting session. This one is for Freshly Made Sketches. I pulled out a little used Stampin' Up set for this. It's nice and easy to stamp the different layers of leaves and berries and it comes with two sentiments so of course I made two cards. I used Nuvo Crystal drops for the berries. I love those drops! I really ~~need~~ want to invest in a few more colours one of these days.

Next is a card for the Colour Throwdown. This little Lawn Fawn fox was looking a bit dusty so I thought I'd put him to use. I realize I probably should have used a little more brown in my design but it's there in the coffee cup so it's not completely missing! :)

Panda & Abstract

Hi there!

It's been ages since I've done a non-CASology post but I had a lovely day in the Craft Cave today so I have some cards to share. First up was inspired by Anita's card at Muse. My original idea involved a lot more white and no yellow but I couldn't get it to look quite right. I finally set it aside. Maybe I'll go back and try to figure it out another time. In the end I took inspiration from the teal and the balloon on Anita's card and came up with this little number.

Next up is a card using for CAS Colours and Sketches (colours) and the Simon Says Wednesday challenge (Thanks/Thanksgiving). I broke out some NBUS Altenew stamps and tried to go a little abstract. It's really not my forte but it was fun. I definitely need to keep practicing though.

Welcome to Week 317 of CASology! Take a look at the cue word for this week:

These adorable little Mama Elephant birdies were the first thing that came to mind when I saw this week's cue word. I also remembered an old mathematical Hero Arts background stamp that I doubt has ever been used. (Hangs head in shame). I stamped it very lightly so that it adds subtle texture to the card without overwhelming the CAS style.

CASology #315

Welcome to Week 315 of CASology! Take a look at the cue word for this week:

I have a lot of gratitude towards Altenew for sending this gorgeous flower stamp with a personalized "Handcrafted by Jennifer Wills" stamp included. Talk about customer appreciation! I know there was a lot of buzz around these stamps a while back but it took some time to get ahold of mine. While it's lovely that Altenew sent these out as a surprise gift, Bermuda doesn't take kindly to items that arrive without invoices. Even free gifts need a value so we can pay duty on them! Anyway after some finagling I finally got mine and I couldn't be happier. Thanks, Altenew!
