Ribbon Rainbow

As I mentioned in Thursday's post (and showed in my craft room tour) I have a ton of ribbon that I never use.  So I decided to continue to challenge myself to do something with it.  This works well with Time Out's challenge to do something different and I'm also going to play along at Seize the Birthday (no topping) since I ended up with a bright and cheery birthday card.  I used my ribbon to make a bright rainbow background and topped it with a Simon Says Stamp birthday die.  I'm loving the vibrant colours and the fun textures from the different ribbons.  Now to see how much more of the stuff I can use going forward...

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Basic Black) Stampin' Up, Vellum
Ribbon:  Hero Arts
Other:  (Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops) Tonic

When you get through your supply of ribbon, I'm happy to send you the 4 lbs of packaged ribbons from all my EH orders!
What does a girl do with it?? Well it's obvious you found a fun way to make a fun card - well done!

I thought that was the striped dies again and thought you had found another way to use them but this is yet another creative and inspired idea! Have you stuck the ribbon to the base card? It gives fab texture and as always you chose the most eye catching colours. And the like that this sentiment has vellum on the base so we see all those colours. So good to see you play with us so much at Time Out Jen-we love to see you here x

I think you are really onto something with all the terrific ways I have seen you use your ribbon. This is such a bright and happy card Jen! Thanks for linking up with us at Seize the Birthday! I love having you in our gallery! Take care!

I have virtually no ribbon - I used to - but it was discarded years ago after a cat ate ribbon on Easter Sunday and cost us thousands at the emergency room vet!!! I wish I had some because what a fabulous look you've created!!

What a great design! I like all the layers and depth that was added with those colored strips. Your sentiment in vellum works so well with this design. Thanks for playing with us at Time Out Challenges!
