Lots of Trees

I've got two more cards from yesterday's crafting session.  This one is for CAS Colours & Sketches and the Colour Throwdown.  I decided pretty quickly that I wanted to use trees for this sketch and first I made a card with stamped Hero Arts trees (see below).  Then I decided I wanted to try this challenge with Colour Throwdown but I couldn't find the right blue ink so I dug out these NBUS Neat & Tangled trees and some cardstock and used them instead.  Its amazing how completely different the two cards feel just by changing up the tree style and colours.  The second one feels much more whimsical to me but I also like the cool, graphic feel of the first one.  What do you think?

Love 'em both, Jen. Your CAS designs are always wonderful, and this pair is no exception. Clever to use the pastel colors with the kraft base, too. You should put your first card into Darnell's NBUS challenge, too! Great cards. Stay safe. Bev

I agree, Jen. The second trees are more whimsical with their curvy branches and I love those colors on kraft cs. Two wonderful Christmas tree cards.

I do like them both! THe first one is classic CAS, and while the second one is the same design, the fun colours and non-white card base give it an entirely different vibe. Well done!
