CASology #366

Welcome to Week 366 of CASology!  Take a look at the cue word for this week:

Being a Leo I had to go for a lion card today and it gave me an excuse to ink up this adorable MFT stamp.  I paper pieced him with some coloured cardstock which was fun.  I used to paper piece everything with cardstock back in the day because I hated to colour.  I spent waaaaaay too much time doing very fiddly fussy cutting although I always liked the dimension it added to the images.

Looking forward to seeing what direction the cue word takes you.  Check out the gorgeousness from the rest of the design team then play along!

Link your creations to the CASology blog by Monday, 27 April (CDT).

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Cajun Craze, More Mustard) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (All from Safari Friends) My Favourite Things
Inks:  (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder:  (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Other:  (Nuvo English Mustard Crystal Drops) Tonic

I love how this guy looks paper-pieced! Although I know you would have done a fine job colouring him. Nicely done!

Already two lions by the design team but this fellow Leo will be using a different one for her card. It may even be your birthday card, Jen.

This is so adorable and what a fun sentiment. Great paper piecing....I hate it, but you have done a super job here!

He is a brilliant lion Jen and looks fabulous paper pieced with card stock. The sentiment took me a moment and then raised a laugh :) Also, can I just say how much I admire your embellishment positioning! Vicky x
