Colour Challenges

Hello to a new week!  I have two cards to share this morning for challenges that are closing today.  First up is The Colour Throwdown.  I was inspired by the colours and the photo for this card.  I broke out my Papertrey City Scenes stamps for the first time and got brave and decided to play with my watercolors.  There's nothing groundbreaking about my watercolouring but it's the first time I've been really pleased with the result which is always a good feeling!  :)

Next up is the Monochromatic challenge at Colour Me…!  I've gone for Christmas polka dots again and this fun subway style stamp from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.   I'm loving my Wow Superfine embossing powder - it gives such a crisp image!  That's it for me today.  Off to take Atti for a swim and then get to work on card orders before I drown in them!  Have a lovely day!

Two gorgeous cards Jen - the watercolour one is beautiful in its simplicity and I love the embossed sentiment panel on the front and the spotted background. Thanks for joining us over at Colour Me...! this week.

Beautiful creations, Jen. Your watercolouring is beautiful, so pretty against the black. And I love your bold red Christmas card, so clever to use the offset black panel, it really brings everything together. Thanks for playing at Colour Me...!

Your cards are so different from each other but equally wonderful. I think you did a great job on the watercoloring.

These are so nicely done. I love that City Scene set, and need to bring it out to play. Your stamping and embossing is so absolutely perfect and flawless on your second.
