Peaceful Bells

***This is my second post for the day.  For my Moxie Fab post please scroll down or click here!***

It's feast or famine around here - minimal posts for a few weeks and then two posts in one day!  Always the way isn't it?  Anyway I haven't played along with ColourQ in a while and the colours this week are really fun - I always love Cajun Craze!  I don't think I've used the bells from this Papertrey Ink Bells and Boughs set before but I thought they'd be fun with these colours.  So fun that I ended up making two cards!  Can't decide which one I like best.  What do you think?

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Bazzill, (Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Soft Suede) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Bells from Bells & Boughs) PTI, (Sentiment from Very Merry Christmas) Hero Arts
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Soft Suede) Stampin' Up!
Punch:  (1/8" hole punch) McGill
Gems:  (Fabrications 'Linen' collection) Teresa Collins
Twine:  (Cappuccino) The Twinery
Other:  (Black Enamel Accents) Ranger

Jen these are fantastic! Love the way you've used the pretty bells and the tiny dots with your sentiment on the first card. And the simplicity of your second card speaks (rings!) volumes!!

Umm...WOW!! This is amazing Jen. The layout is great and I love the added dots around the sentiment. Thanks for joining us at the ColourQ this week.

Oh, how to decide? The slightly more CAS second one certainly speaks to me, but I do love those little colour-coordinated dots by the sentiment on the first. So let's just say I like them both! :)

Decisions, decisions. Sorry can't do it because they're both pretty fantastic! Great way to use some non-traditional colors to make a couple of fab holiday cards! Thanks for joining us at colourQ!

Oh, the first one! It stood out in the thumbnails. It really speaks to me, just perfect the WAY you placed the colors and the bells and the dots around the sentiment. Really. Totally. Perfect.

They are both fab, but I think my fave (if you *made* me pick one) would be the version with only 3 bells.. love that sentiment!

Fun use of those colours. I love the dots around the sentiment - such an easy way to kick it up a notch and add some more colour!

Love these fun cards! I love that you went non-traditional with the colors for the bells:) I'm so used to seeing that set used with traditional colors, and you've made me look at it with new eyes!

Do I have to pick a fave? I don't want to. If I *really* have to, I think I like the first one. It takes the unconventional colours & adds even more with the layout. And the second one is just too cool with the bells strung on twine. So, I guess that would be a no, I'm not choosing. So there :P
