You Nailed It!

A curse seems to have befallen all the males in my household!  Jem is, of course, still hobbling around on his blown out knee.  Atticus appeared yesterday morning hopping along carrying his front paw where he has what appears to be rather a small but clearly very painful cut.  And finally Luis has walking pneumonia!  Hopefully the bad luck with stick to those with Y chromosomes and in the meantime, since all the boys had to rest, I had a lovely afternoon in the Craft Cave!

I've had the idea for this sentiment paired with this image for awhile and have finally gotten around to getting it onto paper.  Whenever I have to create a computer generated sentiment I waffle around for ages because the Craft Cave is in my mom's apartment and the computer and printer are in mine so there ends up being a lot of running back and forth.  I used the colours from this week's Dynamic Duos challenge and the layout was CASEd from this card by Debby.

Supplies Used:

Impression Plate:  (Woodgrain) PTI
Die:  (Half & Half) PTI

Oh good grief! You should stick all 3 of them in a nice big padded kennel with all the kibble they can handle...and make sure you don't get too close ;) Having had walking pneumonia a number of times, my only advice is: use every opportunity you have to say "At least it's not the boogie woogie flu." (You know, from the song? Ahem.)
Not nearly as far away, but my computer is not right with my craft stuff, and I know that I'll get sucked into the Internet if I get on the computer....
That said, I love your card - the woodgrain is too perfect, and hey, if it ever gets in the darn mail I have a card with a hammer headed your way :)

Cool layout on your card! And love the use of the matted half and half die cut!

Hope all your guys feel better soon! Reminds me of that saying "it's all fun and games until someone ends up in a cone", lol!

Gorgeous and I love the sentiment on the side! Hope all the men in your house are feeling right as rain soon! Although it feels great to get a lot of creating done while they are laying low and resting, right? :)

Uh oh, clicked enter before finishing... I hope all the injuries and illness leave your home very soon!

I can imagine you running between apartments to finish a card, LOL! I have to run up and down my stairs, because the computer is upstairs near the kitchen and I have moved my crafting corner down into the rumpus room. It will keep us fit! :-)

Fun card! The woodgrain background is a perfect choice.
So sorry to hear all your guys are doing poorly! I've had "walking" pneumonia twice -- and I wasn't doing much walking while I had it! :(

I just love the wood embossing and your label looks great! You didn't have anything to do with all the mishaps to the males did you Jen?! I mean some people will do anything to get into the craft room! Vicky x
