I've got a card today for the Inky Paws Use Stripes challenge and the Stripes challenge at Seize the Birthday. I'm always a little torn about this image and sentiment (poor birdie!) but Newton's so cute it's hard to resist him - so much so that I made two cards!
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (White) Papertrey Ink
Patterned Paper: (Dots & Stripes Sorbet 6x6, Dots & Stripes Fresh 6x6) My Favourite Things
Stamps: (All from Newton's Birthday Flutter) Newton's Nook
Ink: (VersaFine Onyx Black, Memento Tuxedo Black) Tsukineko
Markers: (R11, Y15, BG09, C1, C3) Copic) Copic
Other: (Nuvo Rhubarb Crumble & English Mustard Crystal Drops) Tonic

You could colour the feathers 'green' and call them leaves... that could solve your dilema lol. I agree though, he is a cute cat!
I agree Newton does look so darn cute, but that poor birdie! Love the CAS design with the brightly striped paper! So glad you shared with us at Inky Paws!
Hugs,
Debbie
I thought they are Fall birthday cards until I read the sentiment and realized that the yellow leaves are actually feathers! Pour bird... Pretty CAS design as always! Thank you so much for joining us at Seize the Birthday!
Oh my goodness, what a fun card! I love your use of stripes and that naughty little Newton! Thanks for joining the Inky Paws Challenge!
Such a fun clean and simple card.
Thanks for linking to the inky paws challenge. Hugs Diane
