Tired of Texting

Hello!

I've got a card to share for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  I pulled out some oldies but goodies for this one.  The typewriter is by Hero Arts and the notebook dies are Paper Smooches.  I dug out some coloured embossing powder (which I very rarely use but, of course, have a ton of) and some older Echo Park patterned paper.  I am determined to put a serious dent in my stash this year!  I'm pretty sure this is my #1 resolution every year but eventually it has to stick right?  Just keep swimming crafting...

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Basic Black) Stampin' Up!
Patterned Paper:  (Yellow from Fall Dots & Stripes, Blue from Metropolitan Dots & Stripes) Echo Park
Stamps:  (Typewrite & sentiment from Typewriter Notes) Hero Arts
Inks:  (VersaMark) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder:  (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow, (Aqua Zing) American Crafts
Die:  (Notebook Basic) Paper Smooches
Other:  (Nuvo English Mustard Crystal Drops) Tonic

Hello! !
Today 31st is New Year's Eve in Japan.
In the year end, we say “Yoi otoshi wo” to each other wishing for the coming
year to be pleasurable.
The New Year season is the most significant season for the Japanese.
All the Christmas décor is switched to the New Year’s in a blink.
Major New Year icons are the pine tree, bamboo, plums and so on. All of them are symbols of good fortune and longevity.
Ryoma.

I love the clack of old typewriters.....except when I was writing term papers back in the day! This is so cute! Glad you shared it at FMS!

This is so cute, Jen! Love that sentiment and what a great use of those dreaded (for me, anyway) angled panels. Good on you for using up a bit of your colored embossing powder too - I've got screeds of it and will never get to the end of it :) .
