Welcome to Week 292 of CASology! Take a look at the cue word for this week:
When I saw this cue word the phrase, "Curses! Foiled again!" kept running through my head. I knew it was from some cartoon character but I had to look it up - it's Snidely Whiplash from Dudley Do-Right. Anyway I pondered that for a bit and considered making an encouragement card - you know, keep on trying even if you're plans are foiled or some such thing. I also considered the fencing type of foil but really had nothing to work with there. In the end I stumbled across these foiled vellum papers and voila - a CAS and classy wedding card was born.
Looking forward to seeing what direction the cue word takes you. Check out the gorgeousness from the rest of the design team then play along!
Link your creations to the CASology blog and remember that the deadline for entries is Monday at 9am (CDT).

Fabulous, Jen ... elegant and stylish ... a perfect wedding card! Hugs, Anita :)
Perfectly elegant!
Wonderful card - so classic!
Oh yes, Snidely Whiplash. It's also a line from Snoopy and the Red Baron song. But I should be talking about what you really did do, Jen, and it is a wonderful wedding card. I have foiled acetate but have never seen foiled vellum. It's lovely and the thin-lined die cuts let it show.
Is snidely one of the 'Catch the Pigeon' Crew? I know this phrase and cartoon too. I love your card. I feel we are vaguely similar this time. I love how you added a small black border to your foiled panel, its the little details that make your cards so lovely.. Cx
