Brusho Flower

Hi there and Happy Friday!

Just popping in quickly with another card for the Winnie & Walter World Cardmaking Day challenges.  This one is for Kate's stencil challenge.  I don't have any W&W stencils so I used an Altnew one with some texture paste.  I sprayed some Brushos on watercolor paper and stamped a bloom from Addie's Garden onto it.  I love how the colours came out and I didn't want to detract too much from them so I stuck with a neutral grey for the leaves.  Everything is fussy cut and popped up on foam tape and I added a simple sentiment with some gems.

I'm also going to enter this in the Simon Says Wednesday Thinking of You challenge.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Smokey Slate) Stampin' Up, (Watercolor) Ranger
Stamps:  (Flower & leaves from In Bloom: Addie's Garden, Sentiment from In Bloom: Julie's Roses) Winnie & Walter
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukeniko
Stencil:  (Sketched Lines) Altenew
Embossing Paste:  Dreamweaver Stencils
Watercolors:  (Terracotta, Alizarin Crimson, Brilliant Red, Orange, Yellow, Sunburst Lemon Brushos) Colourcraft
Gems:  Recollections

Brushos scare me... but the vivid colour really appeals, I just love how you have made this flower such an incredible focal point of your design!

The depth of saturated colour on that bloom is fantastic, Jen ... so striking against the white and that touchable texture! Hugs, Anita :)
