Welcome to Week 128 of CASology! Take a look at the cue word for this week:
It's the first challenge of 2015! You may have noticed that there have been a few changes here at CASology. We are sad to say goodbye to Meghan McMillan but we are happy to welcome Hazel Hodgkins and Kymona Tracey to the design team!
After considering the new year, a hot night out and some fruit I finally settled on a wedding themed card since a wedding day is a pretty important date to remember. I love this little Paper Smooches chapel and the PTI sentiment. I use both of them often for wedding cards (although not always together).
And now it's your turn to show us what comes to mind when you see the word "date". Be sure to check out all the fabulous inspiration from the design team and then play along!
And this week's guest designer:
Link your creations to the CASology blog and remember that the deadline for entries is Monday at noon (CST).
Cardstock: (White) Bazzill, (Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede) Stampin' Up
Stamps: (Chapel) Paper Smooches, (Sentiment from Big & Bold Wishes) Papertrey Ink
Inks: (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Absolutely love this card! That red heart just pops right out of the chapel! Love how you reached the decision to go with this idea too. I can see why you get so much use out of that stamp set.
I love your combo of sentiment and image: the clean style of the sentiment font gives a great contrast to the more sketchy house. Very cute card and so perfectly CAS! GD Nonni
Just so simply wonderful!
