The Cutting Edge

Jackie Rockwell has done it again and come up with another fantastic crafting challenge.  The Cutting Edge celebrates die cuts, die cuts and more die cuts and has a brilliant design team on board!  The first challenge asks us to take inspiration from this gorgeous card of Jackie's.  I was inspired by the yellow/orange and the large die cut.  I used a Lifestyle Crafts butterfly die and a Paper Smooches sentiment die to create this simple but effective silhouette. It's also flat and great for mailing.  This was super quick to put together so since I had all the supplies out I made another similar card.  Easy peasy!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper:  ((Atlantic 6x6) Studio Calico, (The Sweetest Thing: Tangerine) My Mind's Eye
Stamps:  (You from Simply Said) Paper Smooches
Inks:  (VersaMark) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder:  (Seafoam White) Ranger
Dies:  (Nesting Butterflies) Lifestyle Crafts, (Hello from Quote Tags, Love Word) Paper Smooches
Gems:  Recollections
