With Gratitude

We've had a rather lazy day today but I made it into the Craft Cave for a couple of hours and managed to finally put together the card I've been thinking about for the colour challenge at Paper Smooches Sparks. When I first saw the new Space Cadet set I thought the rocket flames would make good flames for birthday candles and also lovely flower petals.  (Kim also mentioned these as flower petals in this post).  I finally got around to making a flower with them and for the flower centre I used the porthole from the spaceship.  I love how Paper Smooches stamps are so versatile this way!  I'm also going to enter my card in the Stamp It! Cards Week:  Thank You Challenge at the Moxie Fab World.

Supplies Used
Cardstock: (Pool Party, Crumb Cake) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Flames & porthole from Space Cadet, Timber background, Sentiment from Chit Chat) Paper Smooches
Ink:  (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Pacific Point) Stampin' Up
Gems:  (Bumblebee assortment) Doodlebug
Prismacolour pencils

What a clever idea for the flower petals. I love how Kim gives us ideas to use her stamps in different ways.
