Life Is Beautiful

Ahhh!  The two weeks of extra shifts at work are over so hopefully I'll have lots of time to catch up with everyone and actually make some cards now.  Yee haw!  For this little card I used the colours from ColourQ and stamps from Market Street Stamps.  I used VersaMark ink on the MSS gingham background stamp to get a subtle pattern on the red cardstock.  I also used a button and some twine!!!  I know... I'm getting a little crazy here.  I thought of that wooden button when I started the card and was really impressed when I actually found it!  LOL!  Must dash now as hubby and I are going to dinner and then to an info session about a potential Portuguese class for me.  Boa noite e ate amanha!

Supplies Used
Cardstock: (White) Bazzill, (Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Tree & flowers from Home Sweet Home, Gingham Background, Sentiment from Simple Salutations) Market Street Stamps
Ink:  (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko)
Punches:  (Corner) Marvy Uchida, (1/8" hole punch) McGill
Twine:  (Honeydew) The Twinery
Button:  Impress
Copics:  R29, YG03, C-7, 100

I love this scene - and the subtle detail of the gingham on the background - I love details like that - they add to the card as a whole without making it busy! Great rich colours!

Super sweet design Jen! I particularly love the button and twine, they are things I constantly add to cards and then pull away again, others make it looks sooooo easy... Yours is perfect!

Portuguese? Awesome :) I've taken both French & German, but it seems that my brain is determined to remain stubbornly Anglo...whah.
Love the gingham background, and WHAT IS THAT BUTTON DOING THERE? I'm so confused ;) lol It looks awesome. Love the dimension on the tree too!

Love it, and love it when I can find a particular piece that I've been wanting to use too, although that doesn't happen very often!

Life is beautiful. Your card is beautiful. Love everything about it, down to the subtle background (great idea!) and the twist of yarn to vertical on the horizontal line of twine (great idea!)!
