I've got cards today for Darnell's Twofer challenge where the prompt is Flowers. I had pulled out my Taylored Expressions Scribble Flowers dies for a recent challenge and while I was making those cards I had the spark of an idea for the Twofer challenge. For the first card I used the dies to create a simple flower in a frame. For the second card I took part of the flower and created a fun polka dot background with it. It's bright and cheery and maybe even a bit silly but overall it has a fun and celebratory feel to it I think.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (White) Papertrey Ink, (Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps: (Hello Beautiful from Essential Sentiments) My Favourite Things, (Happy from Birthday Greetings) Altenew
Inks: (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder: (Clear) Hero Arts

Two awesome cards Jen! Your birthday card is definitely celebratory with it's fun and bright colors, and yay for using the flower as a polka dot background...great way to stretch your stamp/die!! And your single bloom card is just as bright and lovely and will be sure to bring a smile to the recipients face!! Thanks so much for sharing these two beauties with us at The Twofer Challenge!! :0)
Such a bright and cheerful flowers twofer! First card with framed single flower is just awesome and the birthday card with the bloom converted into polka dots is fabulous. Great idea! Thank you for playing on Twofer Card Challenge #34.
