I took inspiration from how Jennifer McGuire used sentiments to create backgrounds on these cards. I love the look of it and thought it would work well here with the PB&J. I actually plan to make more similar cards using other food combos from this set - one of these days!

Candles & Trees

Hello hello!

I have two cards to share today. First up is for CAS(E) This Sketch and Seize the Birthday (where the topping is Candles). I went totally literal with the CTS sketch using Mama Elephant stamps. Love that sentiment. So cheeky!

This card was inspired by the photo over at Just Add Ink. Those trees are gorgeous! I used CAS-ual Fridays stamps for the sentiment and tree and scattered gems in among the leaves. I added some (ancient) Basic Grey paper for the side panel.

Flowers & Love

Hi there!

I'm popping in with cards for a few challenges. First up is for CAS Colours and Sketches and the CAS on Friday dies challenge. The flower is an ancient My Favourite Things die and the Poppy Stamps thank you die was a gift from my lovely friend Hazel. The flower comes in 3 sizes so I layered them up to create the cool striped look.

Finally is a card for Colour Throwdown, AAA Cards and the Simon Says Wednesday challenge. Lots of love themed challenges out there at the moment and this Paper Smooches love die is bold and fun. I covered the letters in Aqua Shimmer Glitter which is my new favourite! Lots of sparkle in real life.
