Swirly Tree, Apple & Birthday Balloons

Hi there!  I'm back with three more cards.  First up is for the Merry Monday challenge which has started up again after a summer break.  We were challenged to make a card using gold, black and white.  I dug out some shiny gold cardstock and cut it with this fun Whimsy Stamps Christmas tree die.  I mounted it on the Avery Elle burst die and added an MFT sentiment in Delicata Golden Glitz ink.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Sentiment from Hand Lettered Holiday) My Favourite Things
Ink:  (Delicate Golden Glitz) Tsukineko
Dies:  (Funky Christmas Tree) Whimsy Stamps, (Burst die) Avery Elle
Gems:  Recollections

Next is a card for the Curtain Call: Candy Apple challenge.  I love this Paper Smooches apple image and always have fun paper piecing it.  The font on the Mama Elephant thanks die is also a favourite.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (Kraft) Papertrey Ink, (Gumboil Green, Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper:  (This & That Graceful 6x6) Echo Park
Stamps:  (Apple from Falling for You) Paper Smooches
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Dies:  (Thanks) Mama Elephant, (Stitched frame) Reverse Confetti
Other:  (Glossy Accents) Ranger

Finally is a card for the Muse challenge.  I love the colour palette that Anita used for her balloons and used almost all the same Distress Inks for my Simon Says Stamp balloons.  I then die cut the Mama Elephant birthday and mounted it on a couple of layers of grey cardstock before popping it back into place and adding a little "Happy" above it.  I'm also going to add this to the Stamp It challenge over at the Simon Says Wednesday challenge

That's it for now.  Have a lovely day!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (Watercolor) Ranger, (Smokey Slate) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Balloon from Birthday Balloons) Simon Says Stamp, (String from Admit One) Lawn Fawn, (Happy from The Big, the Bold & the Merry) Winnie & Walter
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet, Hickory Smoke) Ranger
Embossing Powder:  (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Dies:  (Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Rectangles) My Favourite Things, (Birthday) Mama Elephant
Gems:  Recollections

Ooh, I love that swirly Christmas tree! That's what caught my eye first, but the other two are awesome as well.

Loving the swirly tree in gold, looks fab with just the black and white. And your take on my card is lovely, the inlaid die cut looks fabulous and I love the use of grey too.
Thanks for playing along at Muse this week, Anita x

Wow, Jen, you're crafting up a storm. The fun tree looks spectacular in gold. The pieced apple looks folk artsy on kraft and the 'hidden' message on the balloon card makes it special.
