So 80s

Hi there!  I'm playing along today with the Throwback Thursday challenge from WPlus9.  This time we're using the So 80s stamp set.  This stamp set was in my first ever order from WPlus9 and I've used it quite a bit over the years like here, herehere and here.  Today I went for a Hero Arts ink rainbow with that fun dotty pattern in the top right corner. I trimmed it down, embossed the sentiment and mounted it on black cardstock.  I considered fussy cutting the sentiment and mounting it on foam tape but I like how the colours show through it.  Okay, that's it for me.  Have a lovely day!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (All from So 80s) WPlus9
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Pale Tomato, Fresh Peach, Butter Bar, Green Hills, Tide Pool, Pool, Stone Wash) Hero Arts
Embossing Powder:  (Super Fine Clear) Ranger
Gems:  Recollections

What a great card and it brought back a rush of memories!! When I was a little girl my uncle had these colored lights that flashed colors along with his stereo!! The dotted effect on your card looks just like the plexiglass fronts on those lights LOL!!! He did love his music and he loved it loud!

I'm glad you let the colors show through your "Awesome"too, it really adds to your design. Great card!! Have a wonderful weekend. Bev

This is SO cool!! Can never have enough 80's, particularly when it comes to pop music, and this card has dance party written all over it. Love it!
