CASology #116

Welcome to Week 116 of CASology!  Take a look at the cue word for this week:

In school from Primary 4 through Primary 7 we had to write with fountain pens.  When I started P4 I was so excited about graduating from using pencils to writing with a pen.  How grown up!  The excitement wore off pretty quickly once I realized how messy they could be.  My work suffered from many an ink splat and splotch over the years!  Thus you can see the inspiration for this week's card.  And now it's your turn to splatter.  Check out the splattery fun from the design team and then get messy!

I am amazed that you actually have used a fountain pen. Great idea for splatters. If only they would always be this neat.

Those tiny, contained splatters make me happy! No huge messes on this card!

I remember fountain pens. Their splats weren't as neat as yours. It was a great idea to use this for your card, Jen.

Oh Gosh, I remember having to use a fountain pen too - now, that takes me back :-)
Terrific card. Beautifully CAS, even with the splatter.

What? You had to use a fountain pen? My mind just exploded a little bit. Good thing, though, since it inspired you to make this fun CAS card!

Wow, I don't think I've ever even touched a fountain pen! That is pretty cool! We got to use "erasable pens" in fourth grade...but I quickly realized they also smear and wind up all over the side of your (writing) hand! Ah, memories! Your CAS card is perfect and would be great to have as a set...so useful!

ooh! I like it Jen! This reminds me of trying to use a calligraphy pen long ago. Being a 'leftie' made the whole process one big smudge and splat fest!
