Sweet Sunday Phone

How awesome is that telephone die cut?  It was a gift from the fabulous Jenny of Crafting in the Country. She sent me some X-Cut dies and also a bunch of die cuts including this phone in red and black.  As you can see I did a little mixing and matching and thought the black phone was more fun with a red centre!  And look at all that patterned paper!  I love it!  Fun and funky methinks.  :)  Not only did I used patterned paper but I also followed the sketch from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  Patterned paper and a sketch on one card??  What is this world coming to!  I'm also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge.

lol - patterned paper & a sketch? Kind of like white space & a sketch for me :) Makes you feel a little weird, right? I LOVE this - the red centre is just the right pop!

I knew you'd make an awesome card with them :0)
I really wanted to send you some colourful patterned phones but I just couldn't decide what to go with!
Although the black phone meant you could use the yummy patterned paper :0) fab card.

LOVE the phone, so old school retro (nice job jenny!) and it goes so well with those patterned papers that also have a bit of a retro feel ... love the warm colours of them too :)

That telephone is retro-fabulous! I love how you stubbed the corners on your frame (just like old fashioned photo corners)! And could that sentiment be more perfect for this card?

How nice of Jenny to send you those dies and die cuts! I've never heard of the brand X-Cut. You know you two are just enabling me and my die obsession;)

Have an awesome weekend Jen!

Isn't she lovely?! (Jenny I mean, not the phone!) Although the phone is lovely as well but I wouldn't necessarily give it a gender! It looks great with the paper too. Vicky x
