Crown Jewels

Good morning all!!  After losing most of yesterday to a killer migraine I am so happy to be feeling back to normal.  Good thing too as I've got a busy day ahead.  To start it off I've got a card for the Simon Says Stamp challenge to use crowns and/or gems in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee.  I love this Teresa Collins crown stamp that I got from Amy and it goes perfectly with this Unity sentiment.  After trying a few different backgrounds I finally settled on this one from Market Street Stamps.  Added a few gems and voila!  A card fit for a Queen!  :)  Hope you all have a lovely headache free day!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Bazzill, (So Saffron, Perfect Plum) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Here Comes the Sun background stamp) Market Street Stamps, (Crown from Freestyle) Teresa Collins,  (Sentiment from May '12 KOM - Love In An Instant) Untiy

Inks: (VersaMark, VersaFine Tuxedo Black) Tsukineko
Dies:  (Bookmark) PTI, (Nesties Labels 4) Spellbinders
Gems:  (Bumblebee & Lavender assortments) Doodlebug

Love this rich-looking card - what a great idea! I have that MS background stamp and I've never use it - but I will now - it looks fantastic!

migraines...gross! You really do lose timeto them :( Blech. I'm glad it's gone.
The sun rays background is perfect - makes it look like the crown jewels are super BLINGY :) And still, that sentiment. Am I ever going to stop snorting with joy every time I see it? Probably not.
(BTW, I do not match you for scarlet, but according to Connor I have turned a nice shade of pinky-tan...)

Ahh wow, I thought that crown was a metal embellishment! It doesn't look like a stamped image at all! M x

Such a bummer about the migraine! I get them once in a while, it's the pits.

On the upside, this card rocks! Loving the very royal purple and gold:) The sentiment, the crown, the light rays were just meant for each other!

Hope you're feeling better today my friend!

Oh my graciousness, I HAVE to have that sentiment stamp! That is freakin funny! As is your card - it's brilliant in fact.

I'm soooo sorry you get killer migraines. I do, too, so I literally feel your pain. (It must be because of all that cleverness happening in there.) I hope you don't get another one for an elephant's lifetime!
