Panda & Abstract

Hi there!

It's been ages since I've done a non-CASology post but I had a lovely day in the Craft Cave today so I have some cards to share.  First up was inspired by Anita's card at Muse.  My original idea involved a lot more white and no yellow but I couldn't get it to look quite right.  I finally set it aside.  Maybe I'll go back and try to figure it out another time.  In the end I took inspiration from the teal and the balloon on Anita's card and came up with this little number.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay) Stampin' Up!
Stamps:  (Panda from Pandamonium) Mama Elephant, (Sentiment from Sentimental:  Birthday) Winnie & Walter
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Dies:  (Balloon, Pierced rectangle) Lil' Inker Designs
Twine:  The Twinery
Washi:  Pebbles
Gems:  Recollections

Next up is a card using for CAS Colours and Sketches (colours) and the Simon Says Wednesday challenge (Thanks/Thanksgiving).  I broke out some NBUS Altenew stamps and tried to go a little abstract.  It's really not my forte but it was fun.  I definitely need to keep practicing though.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Rich Razzleberry) Stampin' Up!
Stamps:  (Squares & lines from Watercolor Frames, Dot pattern & sentiment from Halftone Circles) Altenew
Inks:  (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (So Saffron, Bashful Blue) Stampin' Up
Die:  (Thanks) Altenew
Other:  (Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops) Tonic

The graphic simplicity of your second card is great! I like how you've changed up the position of the three dots in each of the blocks and repeated the three dot idea in the stripes anchoring the sentiment. Thanks for making CC&S part of your crafting time!
Also, your panda card is darling!
