Hi there! I've got a card to share today for the Inspired by the Little Things challenge. This Lawn Fawn ferris wheel is an oldie but goodie. I embossed it in red, inked up the background with Distress Inks and cut it with a WPlus9 scalloped rectangle die. What looks like water droplets around the top are actually stars from a Mama Elephant cover plate. I cut them but left them in place and then covered them with clear Wink of Stella. Finally I added an Altenew sentiment and some gems. I'm also going to add this to the Simons Says Wednesday Anything Goes challenge.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (White) Papertrey Ink
Stamps: (Ferris wheel from Admit One) Lawn Fawn, (Sentiment from Bejeweled) Altenew
Inks: (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Fossilized Amber, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch) Ranger
Embossing Powder: (Rouge) Zing
Dies: (Stars coverplate) Mama Elephant, (Scalloped rectangle) WPlus9
Glitter: (Clear Wink of Stella) Zig
Gems: Recollections
Since I had this stamp set out I decided to use it for a second card. This time I used the design from CAS(E) This Sketch and the colours from Just Us Girls. While the first card is pretty dreamy this one is definitely more masculine. This time I used a sentiment from the LF set and a speech bubble from Neat & Tangled.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (Kraft) Papertrey Ink, (Real Red, Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps: (Ferris wheel & sentiment from Admit One) Lawn Fawn, (Speech bubble) from A Lot to Say) Neat & Tangled
Inks: (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder: (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Other: (Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops) Tonic
Gems: Recollections

Two incredible cards Jen! I like the blended background on the first and the classic color combo on the second!
Two great cards, Jen! I love the sponged background, and how you did the stars on the first card. Thanks for joining us at Inspired By All The Little Things this week!
Double perfection in two different cards, Jen. Love those bitty stars all winked up on that wonderful sky. And card number two is as much a delight as the first. Great idea to emboss in white against that brilliant red. And the black additions are just the right touch. Awesome work, girl! Bev
These are both fabulous, Jen! Wonderful take on the sketch and on the inspiration photo!
You've shown us an entirely different vibe with the same stamp just by changing the colors, Jen. Both are terrific but I'm partial to the red, black and kraft one. I love those colors but I'm also on the JUGS design team so I'm glad you shared your card with us this week.
A yummy duo, Jen ... fabulous cool and bold look with the red/black/kraft colour combo ... love that gorgeous blending and the subtle twinkly stars on the dreamy one! Hugs, Anita :)
They are both fantastic, Jen! I love how you embossed the first one in red - great idea! It also looks amazing in white on red. I love that it's on a speech bubble!
Wow! Love them both!! Isn't it great how the same stamp set can create entirely different cards depending on the inspiration? Glad you decided to join us at Inspired By All the Little Things this week.
LOve your Ferris wheels Jen! I could swear I've used one, but for the life of me ... maybe it'll come to me in my sleep! Your cards are both winners! So happy to see this red/kraft number in the CTS gallery!!! xx

What a cute little Ferris Wheel, it just makes me smile. I can almost smell the roasted peanuts and taste the cotton candy. Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along with us this week over at Just Us Girls!!
Ooh so cool to see different cards featuring the same stamp. Bravo with these two awesome cards!
That background on the first one is awesome! Both cards are so great.
Fabulous CAS cards Jen! Your ink work looks wonderful with those cute little stars.
Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Mandy xx
