Cake & Flowers

Hi there!  Today I've been busily working away trying to build up my stock for the Mason's Lodge event and got some inspiration from a few challenges.  My first card is based on the design at Freshly Made Sketches.  I kind of CASEd myself using this card from a year and a half ago.  I used an MFT sentiment which is the perfect size to go with that big cake.  I'm also going to enter this in the Anything Goes portion of the Seize the Birthday challenge.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (Textured White) Bazzill, (White) Papertrey Ink, (Bermuda Bay) Stampin' up
Stamps:  (Cake from Bake Me a Cake) Lawn Fawn, (Sentiment from Brushstroke Birthday) My Favourite Things
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Dies:  (Scalloped rectangle) Mama Elephant
Marker:  (Y15) Copic
Gems:  Recollections

Next is a card inspired by both Michele Ferguson's card at Muse and the photo at The Card Concept.  (I'd say my card fits the Clean and Simple category).  WPlus9's Fresh Cut Florals set is one of those that I HAD to have but it has never seen much ink so thank you to these challenges for inspiring me to dust it off!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Not Quite Navy) Stampin' up
Stamps:  (Flowers from Fresh Cut Florals) WPlus9, (Sentiment from Think Big Favourites #3) Papertey Ink
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Daffodil Delight, Always Artichoke, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum) Stampin' Up
Dies:  (Big Vases) Paper Smooches
Gems:  Recollections
