CASology #28

Welcome to Week 28 of CASology!  Here's the cue word for this week:

I was impressed with the number of different drink stamps that I seem to have amassed. Pretty much every type of drink is covered - tea & coffee, soda, juice, milkshakes & cocktails. It took a while to finally decide on one and in the end it was dictated by what would fit in the thought bubble (which is actually part of a Paper Smooches tree stamp because all my actual thought bubble stamps were too small!).  The cocktail is from Stampin' Up's Cheers to You set (which, of the few SU sets I have, is the one I use the most).  I really wanted the thought bubble to pop so I went for a bold green background and then a few small elements to accentuate the sentiment.  What kind of drink will you share with us?  Check out the thirst quenching designs from the rest of the DT and then get to work!

And this week's guest designer:

Link your creations to the CASology blog and remember that submissions are due by 4pm CST Sunday, 27 January.

Tree top thought bubble? That's fabulous! And of course I'm a fan of the martini ;) That's probably why I'm not getting anything done... I have GOT to find time to play this week!

I almost spit out my Mt. Dew when I saw how cleverly creative and awesome this card was. I can totally see the ladies in my office doing this (since most of them are of retirement age)

This is really super. Love the green, and the fact that you turned it into a retirement card. You won't believe it, but I have that SU set out on my desk to use for this very same challenge. If I do so, it will be the first time it has seen ink.

Oh, me, I think maybe I've had too many of these or sumpin, cause I thought I'd already been to comment on this brilliant card, Jen! At your age, how could you possibly have perfectly nailed the reality of retirement??!!
