Muse Challenge #1

I'm excited to be playing along with the inaugural Muse challenge!  This is a new challenge created by the fabulous Jackie Rockwell.  Playing along with Muse is about inspiring, supporting and learning from each other.  These things are part of what drew me to this bloggy community so it's nice to see it all celebrated.  This week we're CASEing Amy Kolling who is an amazing CAS designer.  I've CASEd her card pretty literally.  I love the layout, the peek of patterned paper on the edges of the card and that big yellow flower.  The papers are Authentique (Blissful & Journey collections) which I got on my little shopping spree last month in Chicago.  The stamps are all Papertrey Ink and I've had them both for ages.  Now I'm off to see how everyone else has been inspired!

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper:  (Blissful collection, Journey collection) Authentique
Stamps:  (Flowers & leaves from In Bloom, Sentiment from Think Big Favourites #2) Papertrey Ink
Ink:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Gems:  (Mini Jewels Beetle Black assortment, Mini Pearls Bumblebee assortment) Doodlebug

LOVE IT! So many pretty pearls - and so clearly inspired by Amy's card, but still very much different. I can't wait to play along too :)

Jen, the first thing that caught my eye was the Authentique paper. It's one of my all time favorite lines! It's use as border draws you right into the card's center which is fab. I love how you've used patterned paper on your flower. Great sentiment, and the little pearls are just the right finishing touch. Very cool card. Bev

This is just wonderful. I love how you used the patterned paper, and you seem to know just exactly how to scatter that bling.

Oh wow, you've taken Amy's card and made it your own! The source of your inspiration is still clear, but the patterned papers change it up and make it amazing in its own way. So nice!
