Hello hello!
I've got two cards to share today. First up is for the Just Add "R" challenge at Just Add Ink. I had fun arranging these Authentique papers and gave myself points for putting another (tiny) dent into the patterned paper stash. The reindeer is from Essentials by Ellen and I thought he needed a little jingle bell for just a bit more holiday cheer.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (Kraft) Papertrey Ink, (Chocolate Chip) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper: Authentique
Stamps: (Sentiment) Hero Arts
Inks: (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukeniko
Die: (Reindeer) Essentials by Ellen
Twine: Darice
Glitter: (White Wink of Stella) ZigGems: Recollections
Next up is a card for the Furry Friends challenge at the Simon Says Wednesday challenge. The team highlighted Newton's Nook stamps this week so I made another Winston card and paired him with a Paper Smooches sentiment. My background was inspired by Jeanne of A Kept Life who has made a bunch of brilliant cards with bright striped backgrounds that I LOVE like here, here and here. Check out her blog if you never have - she has a fun, bright and cheery style.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (White) Papertrey Ink, (Real Red, Cucumber Crush, Basic Black) Stampin' Up

Embossing Powder: (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Die: (Chevron) My Favourite Things, (Stitched Square) Lil' Inker Designs

Lovely cards, Jen - I love both backgrounds, too! Thanks for playing with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
I love your leaping reindeer Jen, he works so beautifully against those gorgeous dsp patterns. Thanks for sharing at Just Add Ink.
This is a great way to use up your pattern paper. It's a very effective technique too. Chantell Just Add Ink
Your patterned papers go so well together and look great behind that deer, Jen. I just ordered it for myself. The little is cute wit that bright Christmas-y background.
