Problems With Simon Says Stamp...

I was just wondering if anyone else is having issues with their Simon Says Stamp orders or knows if they're having staff problems or something?  

I placed an order on October 2nd (for delivery to a US address) and it still hasn't been shipped.  When I contacted them about it I was told (on Thursday) that they were behind with shipping and that it would be sent "soon".  

I know it's a big company but 12 days is a little crazy.  I placed orders with 3 other stamp companies on the same day and those goods have all long since been delivered. 

Anyone else in the same boat?

Jen, I have only ordered from them a few times...they normally take about 4 or 5 days to get it shipped, but 12 days seems really long. I wonder if the Stamptember orders got them behind. Sorry I am not more help.

I had a terrible experience with that company because of poor shipping and badly packaged products that arrived damaged. The customer service rep was flippant and didn't make any effort to resolve my issues. Although I like their products, I will never shop there again.

Hi Jen! I too had issues with SSS - I placed two orders recently. One on the 30th of September, and one on the 5th of October. They BOTH shipped on the 9th, and I received them on the 11th. I usually expect the orders to take about five days before they're shipped. My guess is that you ordered something that they didn't have in stock, despite the fact that it said it was in stock on the website. They're terrible about doing that. I would call them again, ask for the name of the person that you speak to, and request that they look further into your situation. I'll bet it's one someone's desk waiting for something that was backordered. At least they could ship everything else and then send the backordered item when it arrives. Hope this helps!

Yup, same problem. I ordered products that were out of stock, though they weren't listed as such! I emailed Customer Service and my packages were shipped the next day. What a coincidence!
I hope your goodies are shipped soon.

Yes, I placed an order on Oct 5th and it STILL hasn't shipped. I love that they are so good to us international folk but the shipping times are maddening!

Whenever I've ordered from them, it's always a mystery as to when the order will be processed and shipped. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks and sometimes it shipped out within a few days. It's always been inconsistent, so I'm not surprised to hear that your order hasn't shipped yet.

I am sorry you are having problems with SSS. I have been less than pleased with their customer service as well. I am currently waiting for an order I placed on October 1. After three emails to customer service, I finally received a response that they are waiting on items and it should arrive soon. Other times, they have checked into orders for me, and found that they were laying around in the warehouse. They do not seem to have a good handle on their business, and they do a terrible job of communicating. I am at the point where I think I will only shop there for exclusive items. It's too maddening otherwise, and there are lots of good companies out there.

I never, ever order from them when I am in a hurry. I was amused a month or so ago when their blog discussed that they were a little behind in their shipping - that it was taking longer than their standard two days. In my experience with about 20 orders - five days is more normal before it even ships - and I've definitely had orders wait as long as yours has!!

Boy do I feel your pain! I placed an order on Aug 31st it had an item that was "reserve" so I knew it wouldn't get to me fast but my problem came after I finally got my shipping notification on Sept 27th. I waited and waited and finally e-mailed them on Oct 8th to make sure my package hadn't been lost. They said it must have been a USPS problem. I've never had the post office take 12+ days to deliver an order. I finally got it on the 12th. My guess...they printed out the shipping label on the 27th and it sat around waiting to be taken to the post office or be picked up until I finally complained. UGH!

Hi there! I'm feeling a bit nervous on one of my orders.

I was supposed to get my pacel from Simon Says Stamps last week. It was sent out on the 20th May. Today, I went on to the USPS website to track and it said that it was being redirected back to sender. I called the Singapore post to ask what was the problem and they said that the address written on the parcel was incomplete. It was an expensive order.

No e-mails from them yet.

They don't seem to try to improve as I am also feeling very frustrated and this is 2016!! ...you almost feel that they are making too much money to really care about customer service. I placed an order over 150USD on 16 April 2016, waited patiently until the shipping notification finally came through on 26 April. Tracked the parcel patiently and then USPS returned the parcel to sender!! SSS customer service lady Tiffany insisted that the fault was on me as I had put New York, NYxxxxxx and the repetition was the problem. She conveniently ignored the fact that USPS cited the reason for non-delivery as "Insufficient address" because SHE did not put in the "dens" at the end of "gar". She only wrote Springlfield Gar instead of Springfield Gardens. I had only been using the same form of addess for the last 2 years with Amazon, Spellbinders, Sizzix, Ellen H, MFT, TE and nothing has ever gone awry. Anyway this lady insisted I had to pay the postage again if I wanted my stuff. After a few emails to and fro, I decided to repay the postage for them to send again. That was 5 May and to-date, there is still no news of when the parcel will be shipped. I truly feel like this lady has woken up on the wrong side of bed and picked my parcel to take it out on. I asked to hear from a supervisor but she just ignores me. No greetings whatsoever in her emails, just plain rude in my opinion.

I do like Simonsaysstamp products but this experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Hello Jen, just this evening received an update that the package has arrived at the destination. I'm glad I vented though, now I homto be able to put this behind me.
