Paint Sample Dreams

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm joining in with Unity's Friends With Flair hop today and also playing along with the ombre challenge at the Moxie Fab World.  I've used paint samples on cards before and thought they'd be perfect for the ombre challenge.  This tall Unity image fit beautifully across four colors and I love it embossed in white.  I thought the names of the colours were rather ironic (as this lady chasing her dreams doesn't seem to be in the least bit blushing or dainty) and decided to leave them showing.

I haven't shared any pooch pictures lately so I thought I'd share a new one of my co-worker's puppy Kenzie (last seen here).  Here she is in her crate at work passed out mid-play!  Ah the life of a pup!  :)  Be back tomorrow with more paint sample cards!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (Basic Grey) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Love Life set) Unity
Ink:  (VersaMark) Tsukineko
Gems:  Teresa Collins
Paint Sample:  True Value

First, LOL about the picture. I guess he was playing hard. :) Second, the embossing on the paint chip? BRILLIANT! It is such a clever idea and that particular stamp is fab, too. :)

This is a fun one, Jen! And it's always good when I get a reminder to get out my tiny selection of paint chips (LOL) and play with them again, so thanks!

Ummm, wow, this is fantastic!! LOVE the white embossing, love the large image across the chips, and the titles of the colors are the icing on top. Great design!

And, sadly, I have to say that the picture of your co-worker's pup reminds me of myself, falling asleep in mid-type on the laptop!

OMG!!! This card made me gasp it is so ROCKIN COOL, and that is Rockin at 163size Font!

I am glad I looked at this before I sent it, I mispelled gasp as gass, that would have been a very funny reaction (!), (apologies if this is juvenile, I do have 2 - 10 year old boys goofing off with me today)

And thanks for your (always wonderful) comments on my blog! I did add to Moxie..Never have before, but hey. Couldn't hurt!]Have a great week!

Congrats on winning with this card at Unity..... Love the idea of embossing on a whole paint strip, I've only ever used one to punch shapes from. Perfect choice of colour base card too :0)
