You Are My Sunshine

Somehow the day got away from me and I didn't spend much time in the Craft Cave at all.  We walked and swam the hounds, had lunch with my mom and Skyped with my brother.  A good family day!  I did manage to get a card done for the Paper Smooches Sparks challenge though.  I used 5 different sets for this card.  The body of the sun is the centre of one of the Boob Tubes TVs and the sunbeams are made from the tie from My Guy.  The clouds are from Forest Whimsy and the sentiment is a combo of Chit Chat and Alphadots.  And I used 2 pieces of patterned paper!  Whoop whoop!!  :D

Cardstock:  (White) Bazzill
Patterned Paper:  (Laid Back from Barefoot & Bliss collection) Bo Bunny, (Grey from Sheer Simplicity Neutral) K & Co
Stamps:  (Tie from My Guy, Circle from Boob Tubes, Clouds from Forest Whimsy, Sentiment from Chit Chat & Alphadots) Paper Smooches
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Pumpkin Pie, Basic Grey) Stampin' Up

This is so cute. I love your thunder clouds, and how clever you were to make all these parts from all those different sets.

Such a fabulous card, Jen! Love the white space and how you created the clouds. Hope you have a great week and time in the Craft Cave! No time for me this week as it's a crazy one, but I'll look forward to seeing what you post!

Now you've got me singing you make me happy when skies are grey. It's a good song to go to bed too! Love your card, and that precious bright yellow sun peeking out!

This is a crazy quilt of inspiration, Jen! Do your creative juices ever run dry? I can't imagine how you got the idea to use so many stamps in such a unique way. I love the contrast here - and that sentiment. My dad used to call me "sunshine". Love!!!
