One of the girl's at work wanted a card for her friend's 40th birthday - although he apparently only ever turns 33. ;) So I pulled out a Stampin' Up image, Lawn Fawn alphabets stamps and some felt letters I've had kicking around for a while and came up with this. As it's for a guy I'm going to enter it over at Young Crafters Unite's challenge to create a masculine card.I spent today puppy sitting Franklin, my friend's new chocolate lab. He is the cutest, chubbiest little guy and also the sleepiest puppy I've ever met! He'll scamper around for about 45 minutes and then pass out for the next 2 hours! He'll even pass out mid-play like in the bottom picture - asleep with his toy still in his mouth!

Hey, staying at 33 is original if nothing else! This looks great with the giant letters and the popped-up mug. And that is one cute puppy! Remember, you'll have to give him back! ;)

I love it...and I think I need to adopt that theory...I'm 33 and counting! And oh my, that little guy is oh so sweet.
That's a perfect card for the occasion! Love the number 33...very original! :) That chocolate pup is absolutely adorable! I've always said that would be the very dog I'd pick IF we ever decided we needed a dog! :)

And how cute is that puppy?? And I've got a pretty cute one ;) How funny is that, falling asleep with his toys! Abby will fall asleep holding on with her paws, but not still in her mouth :) That's adorable!
now i have a plan for when i turn 40! love the card, so nice and personal and that beer looks almost drinkable :) the sweet puppy looks almost too cute to return, just as well you have two other cuties ;)

Franklin is adorable! No doubt he is saving up his energy snoozing for now. Watch out when he gets a bit bigger & a "bit" mischievious, lol. :)
