Textured Triangles

Hello!

I've got a card today for the Just Add Ink challenge where we are to Just Choose 2: Flowers - Trees - Texture.  (I went for flowers & texture).  I've had this card base sitting on my desk for ages on which I used pink tinted texture paste with a MFT Tiny Triangles stencil.  I was rummaging through my Altenew stamps earlier and came across this never before used flower set.  I thought it would really pop against the pink if I kept it simple and stamped it in black.  I added a touch of yellow to their centres and then a yellow sentiment block to tie it together.  I'll also be playing along with the July NBUS challenge since this is the first time these flowers have seen ink.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Daffodil Delight) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (All from Frosted Garden) Altenew
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black Black) Tsukineko, (Regal Rose) Stampin' Up, (Limoncello) Catherine Pooler
Stencil:  (Tiny Triangles) My Favourite Things
Embossing Paster:  Dreamweaver Stencils
Other:  (Nuvo Oyster Grey Crystal Drops) Tonic

Wow those black flowers are so striking Jen and also perfectly suited to the strong graphic texture you used in the background. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. Kim

This is very striking, Jen! You make it look so easy putting this with that, but it takes a great eye for design to pull it off this well! Stamping the flowers in black made them work beautifully with your graphic textured background and the yellow tie-in is perfect! I hope you are keeping well! Thank you so much for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

Wow, wow, wow! I love this card to bits with it's kooky 50s feel. The textured paste is fab in pink and I really like how it pops with the yellow flower centres and that perfectly positioned banner! Vicky x
