Trio

Thankfully my mojo decided to return today after yesterday's frustration so I've got a few cards to share.

First up is for Freshly Made Sketches and Seize the Birthday.  I've still got a few images sitting on my desk from when I tried Jennifer McGuire's Fast Watercolor Technique.  I love how this Altenew flower came out and I paired it with some MFT paper and a Winnie & Walter sentiment.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (Watercolor) Ranger, (White) Papertrey Ink, (Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper:  (Grey & White Basics 6x6) My Favourite Things
Stamps:  (Flower & leaves from Magnolia's for Her) Altenew, Sentiment from Sentimental: Birthday) Winnie & Walter
Ink:  (VersaMark) Tsukineko, (Abandoned Coral, Fossilised Amber, Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover) Ranger
Embossing Powder:  (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Dies:  (Stitched rectangle) Mama Elephant
Gems:  Recollections

Next up is a card for The Colour Throwdown.  I took inspiration from the duvet in the photo for my design.  I used the backside of an MFT leaf stamp to stamp the shapes and then filled them in with the patterned front side of the stamps.  The leaf strip is matted on Elegant Eggplant paper and the sentiment is popped up on foam tape.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Leaves  sentiment from Geometric Greenery) My Favourite Things
Ink:  (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Lemon Lime Twist, Lucky Limeade, Elegant Eggplant, Marina Mist) Stampin' Up
Embossing Powder:  (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Gems:  Recollections

Finally is a card for CAS Colour and Sketches.  I finally got hold of this cool Essentials by Ellen sunbeam die that's been on my wish list for ages.  I cut in from the three challenge colours and then put it back together alternating the colours.  The die cut sentiment is covered in Glossy Accents and I added some Nuvo drops around it.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Poppy Parade, Basic Black) Stampin' Up, (Yellow, wine) Paperbilities
Dies:  (Silver Linings, Sentiment) Essentials by Ellen
Other:  (Glossy Accents) Ranger, (Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops) Tonic

I have been meaning to try the fast watercolouring... thanks for the extra push and for linking up to Seize the Birthday! I love the bold colours of the other two cards, too. (I really am trying to get back in the habit of blog commenting...)

Great cards, Jen. I love the fast watercolor flower matched with that patterned paper. Using the backs of the stamps was a great idea and the overstamping adds such interest. The GAed sentiment pops off that bright sunbeam card.
