'Bots and Birthdays

Look at that!  Back for two days in a row!  Yaaaasss!  I've got two more cards today starting with this one for the My Favourite Things sketch challenge.  I finally broke down and got the dies to go along with the Bionic Bots stamps.  I'd avoided buying matching dies as much as possible telling myself that I was saving money because I was perfectly capable of fussy cutting images.  Well, it does save money and I am capable but boy does it take forever sometimes!  So now I scoop some up when I can and it's definitely making my crafting life easier.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Basic Grey, Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper:  (Lucky Prints 6x6) My Favourite Things
Stamps:  (All from Bionic Bots) My Favourite Things
Inks:  (VersaMark, Memento Tuxedo Black) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder:  (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Dies:  (Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frame) My Favourite Things
Markers:  (RV10, C1, C3, C5) Copic
Other:  (Glossy Accents) Ranger

Next up is a card for the CAS-ual Fridays All That Glitters challenge and the Seize the Birthday Anything Goes challenge.  I used coloured glitter papers from DCWV with some fun Papertrey Ink dies and added a CAS-ual Fridays sentiment.  I also added a few Nuvo Crystal Drops but they're pretty hard to see.

That's all for today.  See you tomorrow for CASology!

I agree the matching dies do make life sooo much easier... but they certainly can be an investment, I try and choose wisely for these (I choose them all lol.) Glad to see you back again with more wonderful inspiration!

Your little robot is such a cutie, Jen ... love how his grey ensemble goes so beautifully with the little pink heart he's wearing ... and the background! Awesome glitteriness ... so much shimmer! Hugs, Anita :)

What a cute robot Jen and I love the sentiment. My hubby is an industrial mechanic, this would be great of him! Pretty glittery card too!
