Tribal Butterfly

Hi there!  I've got a card for the Just Us Girls Trend Week challenge - Create a background using inks.  I had fun inking up a panel of paper with Distress Inks and then die cutting this super cool Waffle Flower tribal pattern.  I layered a solid vellum butterfly behind the grey one and the edges of the wings are popped up on foam tape.  I added some Nuvo drops to the butterfly for a bit of fun.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Papertrey Ink, (Vellum), (Smokey Slate, Basic Grey, Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Sentiment from Mother Knows Best) Fresh Squeezed Stamps
Inks:  (VersaMark) Tsukeniko, (Abandoned Coral, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed Distress Inks) Ranger
Embossing Powder:  (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Dies:  (Butterflies) Papertrey Ink, (Tribal Pattern) Waffle Flower Crafts
Other:  (Nuvo White Crystal Drops) Tonic

Your background is so cool! Beautiful blending with the Distress Inks and then using that awesome background die. Love the vellum under the butterfly, too. Thanks for playing with us at JUGS!

Die cutting your fabulously inked paper made a great background for that wonderful butterfly, Jen. The vellum wings add a great touch.
