Today's card is for the current Colour Throwdown challenge. This may be the first time I've showcased these Altenew stamps. I've tried to work with them a few time with my Zigs but I've never been thrilled with the results especially when comparing them to other beauties I've seen. Just gotta keep practicing I guess... Here I went with my favourite technique of paper piecing using solid cardstock. The leaves are glued flat and the flowers are popped up for a little dimension. Clean, crisp and simple.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (White) Papertrey Ink, (Periwinkle) Bazzill, (Gumboil Green) Stampin' Up
Stamps: (All from Bamboo Rose) Altenew
Inks: (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Dies: (Happy) Altenew
Gems: Recollections

Simple and chic! You really let that sentiment shine!
I think that your card turned lovely!
Perfect. Yep. The roses and the sentiment are just that; perfect. The dark periwinkle is spot on, and the green is a wonderful companion to them. Then there's your design... gorgeous and so beautifully CAS. I really, really like this card!! Bev
