Hi there! I'm back for my final week of guest designing for CAS Colours & Sketches. I just want to say thank you to the lovely CC&S ladies for welcoming me and letting me play along with them for the last 4 weeks.
This week we have a sketch challenge:
When I see layers for a CAS card sketch I always get a little worried but keeping the top layer white helps to keep it clean. I used a peekaboo amount of patterned paper underneath it and pulled colours from it for the rest of the card. This MFT bear is from one of my most used My Favourite Things sets. I think he's just so cute!
Be sure to check out the inspiration from the Design Team and then play along! You have until 6pm Eastern Time on Monday, 3 April.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (White) Papertrey Ink, (Island Indigo, Smokey Slate) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper: (Sweet Celebration 6x6) My Favourite Things
Stamps: (Bear & sentiment from Beary Special Birthday) My Favourite Things
Inks: (VersaFine Onyx Black, Memento Tuxedo Black) Tsukineko
Markers: (RV10, RV34, Y15, YG03, C1, C3, C5, 100) Copic
Gems: Recollections

Love this card. Your patterned paper is a great pop of color.
How cute is that bear! Love the stripy mat and the sentiment banner. Thanks for being such a great Guest Designer this month.
I love the peekaboo patterned paper!
This is adorable, you did a great job as guest designer.
This is adorable Jen! I like the thin border of colorful stripes!
Too cute, Jen ... love how you've picked out the colours from the stripes for this sweet little bear scene! Hugs, Anita :)
So glad you were our guest this month!! Your card is fabulous. I love the tiny peek of the rainbow stripe paper - it adds fun but the card is still CAS.
That bear is so cute and I love the added colour from the striped paper. x
Such a cute and beautifully coloured bear. Love how you have used the DP behind the main panel, it really helps the CAS design pop. Thank you so much for GD with us at CC&S this month. Hugs Bev x
I love the striped paper peeking out from the image panel, adding little pops of color! The bear is adorable. Thanks so much for being our guest designer at CC&S during March - you've been amazing! :)
