Hi there! Another weekend is drawing to a close and after some really good crafty time I have a few cards to share with you. First up is a card for The Card Concept's colour challenge. I think my card falls into the Clean and Graphic category. There's no stamping on this one - just die cuts and gems - which made for a pretty simple card once I stopped rearranging those rounded diamonds (and that took way longer than I would like to admit…). I actually think I'm going to go back and make some more of these with different papers. I think they'd make a nice set.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (White) Handy Hippo), (Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper: (Essentials Collection 6x6) Authentique
Dies: (Rounded Diamonds, Thank You) Avery Elle
Gems: Recollections
Next up is a card for the Colour Me…Monochromatic challenge. These stamps are from the Taylored Expressions order I received last month. How cute is that little race car? There's a love sentiment in the set too but I need to build up my birthday card stash especially guy cards. I thought it looked a little plain so I added a bunch of "Vrooms" in the background. It kind of makes it feel like there's a whole bunch of cars revving their engines at the start of a race.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (White) PaperTrey Ink, (Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps: (All from Vroom Vroom) Taylored Expressions
Inks: (Smokey Slate) Stampin' Up, (Red Royal) Hero Arts
Gems: Recollections
This card is for three different challenges. I used the design from Freshly Made Sketches and the photo and sprinkles inspiration from Cupcake Inspirations. I'm also going to enter it in the Simon Says Wednesday Dotty challenge. I had fun using up some patterned paper all the way down to the paper pieced cupcake.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (White) PaperTrey Ink
Patterned Paper: (Creative Agenda) 6x6) Echo Park
Stamps: (Cupcake & Sentiment from Sugar Rush) Paper Smooches
Inks: (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Twine: (Lemondrop) The Twinery
Glitter: (Star Dust Stickles) Ranger
Last but not least is a card for the current Colour Throwdown challenge. It's been a long time since that Papertrey Mehndi Medallion saw the light of day which is funny when I think about how much I NEEDED it when it was released! LOL! And then something new was released and the Medallion got left in the dust. So fickle…
That's it for me. I'll be back with some more cards tomorrow. Have a wonderful week!
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (Pumpkin Pie, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake) Stampin' Up
Stamps: (Mega Mehndi Medallion) Papertrey Ink, (Sentiment from Happy Everything) Lawn Fawn
Inks: (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder: (Seafoam White) Ranger
Dies: (Fern) Cas-ual Fridays, (Small butterfly) My Favourite Things, (Medium & large butterflies) Papertrey Ink
Gems: Doodlebug

Wow you've been busy! Your cards are beautiful. The pattern and gems with the bold sentiment on your first card are awesome. Thanks for joining us this week at The Card Concept :)
Looks like you've had some fun this weekend, all I did was work lol. Loving the bright damask graphic design!
Wonderful cards! Each one is fun, I can hear the engines roaring too. I absolutely love the way you arranged those squares on your first card! It's funny how fickle we can be about stamps! Your story is my story; stamps I HAVE to have until I have it - ha!
All the cards amazing.. thanks for sharing your card at Colour Me !!
love your sweet little cupcake - great take on the challenges - thanks for playing along with us at Cupcake Inspirations
Fantastic set of cards Jen. Great take on all of the challenges. Love the damask paper on the first one. So pretty and elegant. The car card is so sweet. The red looks perfect with the gray. The cupcake card is so colorful. Love the dots. Lovely butterfly on the last one. The doily looks wonderful in the background. Thank you for playing along with us at The Color Throwdown.
Wow, you really have been busy, although I am reading your post backwards, so you could be resting and relaxing for all I know by now. Love these cards--again, each one so wonderful and different. I know what you mean about 'having' to have a set, and then it sits around, but good thing you pulled out that Mehndi Medallion, because it is a stunner.
You really did have a productive time in the craft cave! A quartet of stamping (and die-cutting, and paper-piecing...) goodness. :)
Love your cupcake card and how you used the sketch! It is perfect!!! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Cupcake Inspirations this week! Hope to see you again! xx
Your cupcake card is so cute! The papers are super fun! So glad you were inspired to join the Sprinkles Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations!
