CASology #150

Welcome to Week 150 of CASology!  Take a look at the cue word for this week:

I fell in love with this Papertrey Ink grad hat as soon as I saw it and it was a really worthwhile purchase as I've ended up making a ton of graduation cards this year.  This is the most CAS of my designs.  I wanted one that kind of said, "Pow!  You did it!" so I reached for my trusty PS Bam Bubbles to give it that punch.

Your turn now.  Check out the gorgeousness from the design team ladies and then get craftin'!

And this week's guest designer:

Link your creations to the CASology blog and remember that the deadline for entries is Monday at noon (CST).

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Bazzill, (Daffodil Delight, Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Sentiment from Enclosed: Graduate) Papertrey Ink
Inks:  (VersaMark) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder:  (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Dies:  (Hat) Papertrey Ink, (Bam Bubbles) Paper Smooches

I love the excitement that the background shape adds to this - just bursting with pride!

This is a wonderful card--so high energy and bursting with pride, just like I'm sure the recipient will do.

Yep Jen, 'pow' was exactly what I thought when I saw your card in the gallery! Perfect graduation card. Love how that die is outline only too, so that you really get the full effect of that 'pow'! Love it!!
