Seize the Time Out Concept

Hello and Happy Saturday!  I'm here to share a card for three challenges.  I used the current design from Seize the Sketch, the inspiration picture from Time Out Challenges and the butterfly theme from The Card Concept.  I turned the sketch 90 degrees to the left and expanded the central elements.  In terms of the photo, I was inspired by the paneled walls and the butterflies. I broke out more patterned paper and I like the result here better than the last time I played around with it.  There are several colours and patterns but it's still relatively simple.  I think it fits into the Clean and Layered category at The Card Concept.  I hope your weekend is off to a good start and that you find some time to get crafty!  :)

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Bazzill
Patterned Paper:  (On the Bright Side 6x6) My Mind's Eye

Inks:  (VersaMark, VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder:  (Clear) Ranger
Punch:  (Corner Rounder) Marvy Uchida
Gems:  Recollections

Jen, this is amazing! I love how the vines on the deep orange paper mimic the wood grain paper. Absolutely stunning take on all the challenges and of course I love seeing you play along with us at Time Out!

Love what you did with the title Jen...very creative! And I also am so pleased you picked up on the wood panelling, most people have just seen the butterflies, great interpretation. Thanks for seizing the time to take TIME OUT with us at TIME OUT....so sorry, I couldn't resist it!!

Such a wonderful and beautiful sympathy card. And, clever way to name your post.

Very pretty, and way to use those patterned papers! Makes a lovely sympathy card, too. And as a former teacher, I do like the seize the time out idea... :D

Seize the time out...me with the new dog. lol!
I love the colours for a sympathy card - orange isn't one you'd often reach for, but it's perfection in combination with the other colours, and against that weathered wood. Love the perfect few gems too.

Such a beautiful card! I love that butterfly, and the way you turned the sketch on its side. I also like that you made it a sympathy card. Sometimes I feel that condolence sentiments are lacking among the magazines and e-pubs, and yet it's the kind of card the recipient perhaps appreciates the most. Gorgeous work!
