Oh, and remember the shopping ban? So much for that... When a shopping ban ends for me, it ends with a bang! Being forced to order more white embossing powder seems to have opened the ordering floodgates. I am currently awaiting goodies from:
Scrapbook.com
Simon Says Stamp
Papertrey Ink
The Twinery
Market Street Stamps
I also tried to put an order in with Skipping Stones Designs but was having problems with checking out. My messages to them asking for assistance have gone unanswered which I'm unimpressed with. After experiencing such fantastic customer service from other companies (Unity, Woodware USA, Purple Onion Designs) maybe I now have high expectations. However, given the economic tough times we're going through, what company would ignore messages saying, "Please help me give you my money"?? Their loss and I'm sure there are plenty of other companies who would be happy to help me out.

Oh that's too bad...but I can't wait to see all your goodies come to life in new cards! Today's card is a gem...love how those flowers look like they're going to pop off your card!
My most favorite card of yours ever!
Beautiful! The paper-pieced flowers are perfect, and so is the idea to add glossy accents to the sentiment! (Must remember...) :)
Fantastic use of the color story! I keep forgetting to use my glossy accents! Thanks for the inspiration!
Love this card Jen, that big 'Happy' just makes it :) Great paper piecing!
I guessed that would happen, been there, got the bulging craft room to show it!!!
Jenny x
LOVE that fab paper piecing...your shopping bans sound like mine...I just can't do them because then I end up buying a whole lotta stuff afterwards...LOL.
I love this card! The dimension and the aper piecing is amazing!
Sometimes it´s good to life in Germany because there are not so much great shops. But on the other hand I am very jealous :)
Have fun with your new stuff!
Go big or go home! lol I love the idea of adding the gloss to the sentiment - perfect for one with such a funky font.
Thanks too for the info from Skipping Stones - I find being outside the US means that ordering from some places is an inconvenience for the store. Ugh. No one needs that!
Such a gorgeous card Jen! Your flower totally pops and those colours are perfect!
Congrats on the 'big' spree, I've been holding back on spending myself, but the mental list just seems to get bigger and it's really just a delay of the inevitable...
Oh, I totally love what you've done with those stamps, Jen! I wish I had made this card. And I know what you mean about bad customer service. It really is a turnoff! That being said, I can't wait to see what you make with your new goodies. :D
The way the flowers pop looks so awesome. I love the paper pieced "happy" too. Actually, I think I love every part. :)
Holy cow, you went hog-wild with the shopping! I could have just sent you some white e.p.--LOL! Yeah for you!!
BTW, I tried to contact Skipping Stones a few months ago and still haven't heard back (so I don't think they're just slow).
This is fabulous and I'm very jealous of your soon-to-be packages, or the ones that arrived in no time at all.
THUD! LOVE this! The flowers look A.MaZ.iNG coming out of that sentiment! Fabulous.
