Hi there!
I'm here today with a card for the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. I paired a Simon Says giraffe with a sentiment from Altenew and some Studio Calico paper. I really like the Simon Says picture book die collection but they're a bit fiddly to put together. I wish they came with a second die of the solid outline so you could attach all the bits to it. Since they don't does anyone have any tricks to make putting them together easier?
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (Daffodil Delight, Tranquil Tide, Soft Suede, Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper: (Darling Dear 6x6) Studio Calico
Stamps: (Sentiment from Geometric Menagerie) Altenew
Ink: (VersaMark) Tsukineko
Embossing Powder: (Opaque Bright White Super Fine) Wow
Dies: (Picture Book Giraffe) Simon Says Stamp
Punch: (2 1/2" circle) Marvy Uchida
Other: (Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops) Tonic

That sweet giraffe totally makes me smile! Great take on the sketch, Jen!
Well, I'm totally worthless as I don't have any of these, but he seems perfectly put together, and I sure love this guy peeking out of our CTS Sketch! xx

Such a cute take on the sketch! I was gifted the koala and wished there was an easier way to assemble these critters, too. I've seen Laura Bassen fashion her own "backing" piece, cut a little smaller than the die. Doesn't have to be neat--you just want something to stick the pieces to. Check out her blog if I've completely confused you!
Those dies remind me so much of Cricut cuts, Jen. He's a cutie and well put together.
