Welcome to Week 231 of CASology! Take a look at the cue word for this week:
This week's cue word gave me a good opportunity to pull out and use some NBUS stamps. Now I know these Simon Says tree images have been around for ages but I just got them recently. I tried watercoloring them with Zigs but I really need more practice in that department so them I just coloured them with Zigs on their own - no water. I like the richness of the colours like this but I still want to master watercoloring with them!
Looking forward to seeing what direction the cue word takes you. Check out the gorgeousness from the rest of the design team and then play along!

Based on a little wallpaper I spotted on a sitcom last night, I've been playing with this very set, Jen ... LOve what you've done with the trees from the forest!

Lovely trees, Jen! I love the rich colors, they really pop against the white card. Enjoy your new stamps and Zigs!
This is a wonderful sympathy card Jen. love your take on the cue word!
Graphic trees like these are perfect for undiluted Zigs! And watercolouring with them can sometimes be trickier than other times, I find. Which all goes towards saying I like this a lot!
Some images are just meant for straight Zigs, Jen, and I think those little trees are one of those. They look fantastic the way you did them.
I just love those modern trees, and your coloring and masking is wonderful.
I love this stamp set Jen and I really love what you have done here. Zigs take a while to get used to when watercolouring, but they are SO much fun to use. However I do prefer distress inks and an aquabrush. Have a great weekend. Cxx
Oh how fun! Diggin the bold coloring.
I do love this set, Jen ... it was where my mind went when I saw the cue card too! You've showcased it beautifully here, the rich colour on these yummy contemporary trees is fabulous! Hugs, Anita :)
Love your forest my friend. Love the bold colour using your ZIGs!
