Hi there! I'm excited to be back with my second showing as Guest Designer over at Market Street Stamps! I wanted to make some Christmas cards but when I looked through my MSS collection it turned out I only had one Christmas set, Prancer, which I last used here. I decided that this was a good opportunity to "stretch my stamps". I'd use the sentiment from Prancer but I'd try and use non-Chrismas images to make the rest my cards.
For my first card I used the outline triangles from Nuts About Nature. I stamped them onto patterned paper, fussy cut them and made a little forest. The border along the bottom is from Great Big Greetings and the star is from Blast Off (now retired).
For my second card I went for a simple, graphic design using the chevron from Riding By in red and greens. A one layer card perfect for mailing! Isn't it fabulous how versatile these stamps are? Do check out the Market Street Stamps shop if you haven't before. I bet you'll find something you like! :)

You clever girl!! Love that stylised forest.... that diagnol strip really makes them look 3D :0)

What a great pair of cards. Very inspiring to see what you did with limited stamps. I really love that chevron card--so striking.
That chevron card us another knockout, Jen! I haven't really gotten into them and don't do a lot of geometric/graphic, but this one stopped me in my tracks; LOVE it!!
Love them both - can't decide which I like better, although probably the chevrons is more 'me' - I rarely use DP (although I have an almighty stack of the stuff!)
Two absolutely gorgeous cards...you know I love OL cards...but all the patterns on the trees have be swooning!
That first card has such an amazing 3-D aspect -- I love it! Such a cool assortment of patterned paper, too. And while I really like the second card... I might choose to avoid it if a migraine was coming on. :P You lined up all those chevrons rather perfectly, didn't you?!
Love both cards but love the trees on your first card.
What a fun pair of cards! I adore that little dsp forest you created on the first, and the chevrons on the 2nd look fantastic with the greeting in between!
You totally had me ooh-ing over those trees and then I saw the chevrons and it was ooh-ing and aah-ing.... so dreamy, fantastic Jen!
Those trees are fabulous - and what a great way to disappear scraps. I swear scraps breed at my house, lol.
And the chevrons? NICE!!! Love the fun & bright colours!
Oh WOW, those chevrons are just smashing!! And love how you combined patterns for your trees too!
These are both fantastic, but my favorite is the tree card! Using the diagonal line stamp across the bottom is genius! Gives it so much depth!
