ABCs

A card for The Paper Players Back to School challenge.  I always forget what a total nightmare it is to photograph black cardstock.  I wanted to go for a blackboard look though so I had to use it.

Supplies Used
Cardstock: (Kraft) PTI, (Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Images from A-Z Alphabet) Unity
Ink:  (VersaMark) Tsukineko

Embossing Powder:  (Seafoam White) Ranger
Markers:  (Gelly Roll Metallic) Sakura
Punch:  (Corner rounder) Marvy Uchida

Oh my gosh! This is so sweet!! Love the CAS look! I have trouble photography all dark colours. Browns look like black for me and black doesn't always look black. Understand your frustration here....lol
Thanks for playing along with us at the Paper Players!

I like how the photo turned out too - although I bet it took 20 tries. I love the effect of colouring with the markers. It totally has that pastel chalk effect!

I really struggle with taking photos of black cards.... I think yours turned out well. Your card is super clever Jen, I just love the whole 'blackboard' idea!

No complaints about your photo from me, Jen -- and I think this card is absolutely adorable! Really like how you coloured just the letters.

Love this. It really does look like a blackboard. I miss them. My daughters would look at me in puzzlement if I showed them a blackboard. All they have now are whiteboards and smartboards.
